Reality TV Reflection

How have your characterization skills developed in this reality TV unit? (give examples) 

I believe that they developed slot across the stages of this unit.I believe that it developed in many different ways and different features.One way that it developed was that in the beginning I didn't really use an accent as much as at the end of the unit and it was and very expressive and effective like it was at the end of the unit.For example, my accent was much more effective in my recent performances rather than in my first in class practical showing home it developed over the unit.Another thing that also developed was my personality. in the beginning, I thought my character needed to dislike everyone, however, as the unit continued I retransformed my characters to like certain people and like certain people to maker her more realistic.For example, in my first performances, I used to not show any likeness towards anyone, however, over the unit I slowly started to show how I like certain characters.A third way that my characterization skills developed was that my facial and body expressions changed to make my character more expressive also with my voice, in my first performances I didn't really show my much expression with my face go through the unit I made my body and face for expressive also with my voice in terms of my volume and my pitch.To conclude that my characterization skills have developed a lot through this unit.

What target can you identify for yourself in order to improve on your characterization skills next term

I think that I have really developed my skills in this unit but I could still improve it a little bit in terms of certain features.One main way that I can improve in next term would be to maybe improve my next character development and to try and maybe practicing it before performing it so that one I come to perform with the accent it could express the character correctly and so that it makes my character expressed and shown in the appropriate manner of my desire.A second way that I can improve would be that I should also try and make my reactions to certain situations show my character through expression and through emotion so that people could be able to see my character's personality not only through one view but multiple views.To conclude I believe that I did well in this unit as my character and my characterization skills but I could improve in ways to make my self better in this certain type of skills to improve for the coming term.


How can you improve your homework when completing written work about the practical explorations in class? 

I believe that I have done well in all my pieces of homework well and in an appropriate manner, however, there are still certain ways that I can improve on them.One the way that I could improve is that I could talk about how my character was expressed in the practical and whether I thought that how my character was expressed was successful or not.I could also talk about what I thought of my accent of my character or how I think I could have improved certain features in different ways like my volume, my pitch and maybe in certain practices as I could talk about how I should improve my reaction  to a situation that happened in the practicals, I could also talk about how my reactions went and way son improving it for next time.Another improvement that I could perform for next time would be that even though my ices were detailed I could still try and include details in my homework pieces and include details about my features my performance in the practicals , for example I can try including details on different perspectives on my performance and my different opinions on my own performance in the practical.To conclude I believe that I did really well in my homework pics but I could still improve in certain ways in terms of detail and in terms of seeing what went well and what didn’t.


 What have you most enjoyed about this unit? 

I think the most thing that I have enjoyed in this unit were the different practicals where we had to work in a  group and perform a scene that would be performed in the Big Brother house.I really enjoyed it as we had the chance of performing in another charter’s place along with other people that were also in their character, I really enjoyed how we had to express ourselves through different activities and I also really enjoyed the situation that we had to perform the Olympic competition.I found that extremely fun to perform and I found it incredibly interesting to perform as my character in that certain performance due to how I was able to express my character's personality through my acting in a very interesting way in that performance.I also really enjoyed when we had to say opinions on each other in our character as I found it enjoyable to have to do that but with the personality of my character.To conclude the most thing I enjoyed about this unit were the practicals that we did in class.

 What was your greatest achievement in drama this term?


I think that I did really well throughout this unit and throughout all my work in this term but there is one certain thing that was my greatest achievement in this term.I think that my greatest achievement in this term in drama would be the mark that I got in the bets bits video that I created along with a group in my class. believe that it was my greatest achievement as I did really well in it as an individual but also as a group due to how it was my last project which then allowed my to show my character fully as for the rest of the time in the unit before this video I developed my character repeatedly in terms of my appearance, my accent, my voice and my expression which then made the project my best achievement due to how it is where I performed the best and showed my character in the best manner due to how it was fully developed from the time before I completed the video due to how I developed it throughout the whole of the unit and I presented it all in that project.To conclude I did really well in my last project of my best bits video making it my greatest achievement in drama in this term.

Drama props

Props:

Male and female basic clothes ( two shirts/ jackets and two male tshirts/shirts or jackets

The male and female clothes are for my team so hat we could use our creative skills so that we could use the costume to represent our characters so that it could be more expressive in terms of showing our character.

Glasses and a Cap

The glasses and a cap can be used to also shoe more expressively our character but also the perodnlaity of our character since glasses could maybe show if the character is a cool and relaxed person or whether he is the opposite of that and is more of a character with a tense personality.

Black Boxes/ chairs 

For the black boxes or chairs we will just eb using these for the opinions in the best bits video for example since each of our characters will be saying an opinion so we will be sung th boxes or chairs as a prop for the chatrcrerts to use during that scene.


For the rest of the props we will be bringing them, for example I will be bringing my own clothes our lot who I want to match the same clothes I sued to describe my character on my blog so that my character could be identified fro previous The other props that we will be using would be editing materials which we will have form a computer from someone in my team who has a program that we will use to edit the whole video and while also include music and sound.

Art Reflection for geometric patterns

1.What did you start with?
In the very beginning, I started with a very beginner design, I mainly started with shares like petals squares and rectangles.I mainly followed the characteristics of the assignment but, I found it quite hard in the beginning as it was something that I never did before, I first didn't really have much idea but then I attempted drawing something in the beginning.With the help of the usual guidelines, I got to abacus drawing.However, with the help of the guidelines from my teacher I was able to come up with a good design for the assignment.

2. What did you do next?
After I completed my first draft of my design for the assignment, I went and took some feedback from my etcher.From the feedback, I decided to draw a new one but the same design, however, I would develop the feedback that she gave me into it so then I could go to the next step.Oe major thing I had to change was the petals and she suggested that if I made them straight lines than it would be so much better.Another thing is that A piece of feedback was that I needed to make sure that all the details in the piece were equal to each other to make it accurate but also presentable and majorly detailed with shapes making a smooth appearance to the piece altogether.

3. Why did you choose that (brush/color/pencil)?
After I did the two drafts for my design, I started choosing the color schemes that I thought would go well together so that I would color the piece.I started making different combinations, I had three different combinations that I wanted to choose from at the end.For the colors, I also used my teacher's help.I had a warm combination, a summer combination and then I had a combination with both color types.At the ned, after attempting we saw that the best combination of the design was the summer and warm combination was fit for it.For the brush, I used a thin brush and a smooth one due to how I wanted it to be neat as when the brush is smaller and thinner it is easier to control when it comes to coloring also, as I wanted to make my trial combinations clear in color.I also used a thin shape pencil as it made the drawing extremely neat.

4. Why didn’t you choose a different (brush/color/pencil)?
For my design the reason I didn't choose a thick pencil it would have made the pice look extremely not neat or even tidy due to how it would have been thick making it also not look very presentable.The reason I didn't choose a thick and rough brush was that it wouldn't be as neat as painting would not be as controlled and may cause in me painting out of the lines but also when it comes to trying it will not be clear of the brush is rough and thick.For the colors, the reason I didn't use the warm color combination or the vibrant color combination was that one was too bright and the other felt too dull and didn't have a variety of colors, also, each one felt like it was missing a color to just make the piece as good as it can be in terms of color but also so that it fits the criteria of the type of design.

5. What problems did you encounter?
I encountered multiple problems throughout the whole process.One of the problems that I encountered was that when I was drawing my details were not accurate in my first draft of the design.Other than that another problem that I faced was when I was seeing what each thing would be colored was that I wasn't able to easily decide what each shape should be what color.Another problem that occurred multiple times was not all the colors of the palettes were similar so each lesson I would've to spend the time to find the color that I used the lesson before it.The same issue happened with the brushes as most of the class used thin brushes so they would finish quickly and it would take me a long time to find a brush that I should use for the piece.

6. How did you solve them?
The way that I solved the issue of not having accurate shoes was that I measured the squares inside the grid and divided them equally by my shoes and used a ruler to draw all my shapes equal to each other.For my issue of seeing what each shape in the pice should be colored as, I numbered them and tried each door in the shape and since I had 4 different shapes I used 4 colors so that each share would have a color and whatever was next to each other I would make sure the colors complimented each other and didn't ruin the appearance of the piece.For my issue of the palettes and the brushes, I would sometimes share palettes with others if I didn't have the color I needs.For the brushes, I tried to not waste time and make sure to be able to get a brush as quickly as possible so that I got one I wanted and if I didn't I would swap brushes with people every now and then during the lesson.




7. Were their issues you couldn’t solve?
There were very minimal issues that I couldn't solve.There were only one or two as most of the time all the issues had a solution.One issue which didn't have result was that in my final I had to remove a part of my piece as it codlin fit at all dos I had to include it form my piece leaving a part of my piece not included.Other than that I believe that I didn't really have an issue that I couldn't solve.

8. What is working well and why?
I believe that most of the process and the results of each step were quite good and was going well.One of the rings that went well was that I was able to think if a design but after many trials.A second thing that also went well in the process was that my teacher was able to help me a lot which really helped make my process even easier.Something else that worked well was that the second draft for my piece looked really nice and actually exceeded my expectations of its appearance as it was my first time doing it.Also, after trying the combination, the color combination that I chose turned out be really well.

9. What isn’t working well and why?
I believe that even though most of the things through the process went well I think that some things didn't really go well throughout the process.One of the things that didn't go well was that I found it hard to think of a design so it took me a long time to start drawing.Another thing that also didn't go well was that when I painted my brush strokes appeared due to how I wasn't extremely good at painting os in the piece my strokes lightly appear from my brush.Something else that didn't go well was that after doing my design I saw that it wasn't as creative as I wanted it to be and it wasn't as detailed, the reason for that was that when I researched I found much better things than my design so I slightly improved my design in the final like making it more accurate so it could be more accurate and have more details to make it more complex in appearance.

10. What did you learn in this piece that you can apply to the next?
From this assignment doing this piece, I learned things like different artistic skills and things like styles and color combinations.One thing that I learned for the first time was how to draw a piece like this which was a geometric arab piece, I learned the different folds of this type of art.A second thing that I also learned was how to make accurate shapes by calculating the width and divide it by the shapes that you are drawing so that each shape is an equal measurement to the rest of he owns next to it so the appearance is neat and also acquirers in detail. Other than that I also learned was how to use a T scale which is used to make you liens perfectly straight I also learned how to use a water brush where the brush would have water inside if it so the watercolor would be good quality when painting.This time was my first time learning how to make color combinations and how to see what Colors match together for a piece.Another thing I learned was how to use shores to put them in a way and an angle so that they form an appropriate Islamic piece.Meanwhile, I learned about art in Islamic and the history of its use, also where it is used nowadays like mosques. Lastly and most importantly I learned a new style of art and how to use simple skills like show drawing and painting to compose an appropriate piece.


To conclude, I believe that is have done well in his assignment and that my result was very appropriate and presentable.However, I still think that I could improve but, I have benefitted a lot from this assignment as I have learned a lot artistically but also found it really enjoyable.

Reality TV questions

1) I believe that reality Tv is actually more entertaining than dramas or documentaries are shown on television.The first reason I believe so is that I think that reality tv is more realistic than dramas while for documentaries they are too factual making them boring for us as they are not very entertaining while in reality Tv it tries to be realistic as possible making them relatable to us making them entertaining more us as if we relate we would be entertained as how they may be having the same experience as us and watching their behavior in a realistic experience rather than watching something that is factual and only benefits us knowledge wise but not entertainment ways unlike tv shows. A second reason why reality TV is more fun than documentaries is that they would be more interesting as you know that it is not fake like dramas but even though it might be controlled to a certain extent to us it is watching another person life which would be more entertaining than seeing things that are trying to educate you.Other than that people usually enjoy knowing about other peoples lives and as humans we enjoy gossip so reality tv is something that is quite close to gossip as it involves you in another person's life which us as people of the society find fun since it is in some sort telling us about other peoples lives which is close to gossip as t is about other people.The last reason is something that I find funny would be seeing funny moments that could be embarrassing for the person which most of the time is only available on the fictional drama of reality TV.To conclude, I think it more entertaining to watch reality TV than documentaries as it is more entertaining than learning through facts and images. and also as people usually watch TV for fun and not actually for learning as we have more than enough resources for that, however, it still depends on the person's age and interests as sometimes people would prefer learning than being entertained.

2)I think some there are many ethical and moral issues that could occur on a reality TV show like Big brother.One of these issues could be that how they are filmed 24 hours a day could be exceeding their privacy not allowing the people to act comfortably and they might not be able to perform their private and personal things.A second moral or ethical issue could be that reality TV actually forces unsuspecting people to humiliate themselves publically towards many people just to gain more earning for money form the show.In reality TV they are essentially telling people to suffer inform of the whole world just for the benefit of the people that are responsible and not giving the person any benefit but just making them horribly embarrass themselves worldwide which is quite morally wrong but also ethically.Other than that a third ethical and moral issue that occurs in reality TV is that usually people that volunteer for reality TV shows usually signs a release before going into the show.Most of the time on tv shows when the volunteers sing the Delaware’s the realizes don’t necessarily say the exact serials of what will happen in their experience in the reality Tv show.Simeukes companies do tell the whole truth but sometimes other companies don’t necessarily say what happens fully as ty want more people to volunteer so that they succeed in the show.The reason they do that is that if they put every single detail and say it to the volunteer they know that the volunteer won’t necessarily agree to it due to how they would t want to humiliate themselves.And that is the ethical and moral problem as companies don’t tell their volunteers at the beginning not allowing the volunteers to know the truth about their job.That then makes the volunteer naive about what they are doing and then the producers add in whatever they want according to their desire so that the gain according to what they produce as their reality tv show.

3)Different contestants may have different opinions, however, there are some main reasons for why contestants would want to quit the TV show would due to many things.One reason that they may quit would be  that they don't feel like  they have their own privacy in the house and they feel that they are exposed for the whole time causing them t feel uncomfortable at their stay at the house which then might cause them to quit due to them feeling uncomfortable due to the extra exposure and the lack of privacy.A second reason why they might want to quit would be that they may feel furious maybe after staying some time in the TV show, the reason they may feel angry and furious would be that they don't trust the producers since when the volunteers signed the release before they were in the TV show maybe not the same thing happened in the period of time they worked in as was said in the release that they sih=gned causing them not only to feel uncomfortable but also lose their trust in the company causing them to also feel slightly unsafe causing them to feel a little worried when they are there causing them to sue this as a reason to quit the TV show of reality TV.A third possible reason for someone in a Realy TV show to quit could be that they feel like they would rather not humiliate themselves in front of people as they know that by humiliating themselves they would be embarrassing themselves in front of many people as they are on television.Maybe some of them would then decided that they would rather not get money but keep their reputation secure and not embarrass themselves worldwide.HOwever, sometimes it depends on the time of person whether they care about their reputation or not or they would rather get money and become famous with a humiliating reputation than not be famous and get a regular job and not having a humiliating reputation within the population that watches the reality Tv show worldwide.

4)I believe that reality Tv shows are not actually real at all however, there may be some parts of it may be true however, most of the things that are in the show are done by producers and are not actually real.The first and the main reason that I think That Tv is actually not very real strat form the volunteers.It was the ad that when the volunteers enter for the job they sign a release and most of the time what is said in the release isn't actually what is dine in the TV show.That is the main reason as they don't want their volunteers t not want to enter it so they try and not tell them the real truth about reality TV and the show they are doing.A second also main reason for why I think that reality TV isn't actually real is that according to my research most of the producers take separate videos and put them back together so that they create a situation between two characters or so that they create a story or most that the TV show could have to make it attractive to the audience and make it more adventurous or as they say even dramatic most of the time.Other than that they also do a lot of editing to not show how the show really is, another reason they do this is to create dilemmas to make the show more attention-grabbing as most if we as people get attracted to arguments or issues which the producers think will then attract us to watch their TV show.To conclude I believe that reality TV is not very true but may be slightly true, and even though it is not scripted producers still edit it into something that is not really so that it attracts the audience.

House plan

Today in our class, we had a small activity. What we had to do was that we had to get together with another person and work in character to create a plan for how we image the house and how we would want it to be.For this activity I worked with Kiyara To create the plan.

In this task I wokred with a partner to make a house plan of what we imagine the house shiuld look like.We pout difffeent rooms like the kitchen, the living room, the bedrrom, the bathrrom, the diray room, the poool and many others.We also drew them in dofferent sizes hsowing how we imagined each room to be in a certain area of the house.In the drawing we out all the rooms that us as our charcters imagine will be in the house.During this task we acted like our charcters to see our similarities and craete rooms that we would want liek skin care and make up.We alos put things that fit to waht we love as our charcters liek a room that we coudl use.

For example we put a bar where we could have drinks as my charcter is someone that worked in a bar so I would use the bar since my charcter has experinece in it.We also out the pool as we daw that both our charcter senjoyed swimming which was our reason for out pool.We also decided to add things like a sauna csince we feel like we deserve alot of luxury since we are very attention seeeking so we added things liek the makup room and a sauna since as attention seeking people we belive taht we shoudl as famous people or more like celbraties which is why we put these uxurrios fetures in our house plan.

FInally as you see we made the different rooms in the house different sizes.The reason we did this as a team was we did the sizes accroding to ur importance and we did that to show how much each of us has a charcter that finds things more important than other things.There are mnay eaples since in the plan it shows that we gave more space for the dining room showing how we give more importance to the dining than the toilets and the laundry room and the gym whoing thta we thing the dinng room is mroe impornat than any of these rroms.Hwever, the biggest room in the whle plan is the living room.What this shows is taht we think that the most important room os the living room.But, if you notice we made the bedrrom the same size ss the iving room ahiwing that we give the sae importssnce to the living rooms and the bedrrom which also reflects on our charcters for this unit and what they like but also  what they find important in their house or lifesttyle being the people theu are with theur personalities.

To conlude I foudn this task to be very enjoyable for en but it was also very enjoyable ti work with soemone else as our cgacters as it was a very nice experince it terms of practicing being my chracter eith someone else also ating as their chacrter,Other than taht I also think that it was very ebneficial for me as it gave me a chnace ti develop my charcter in terms f epxressions but slaos behavior for exmaple, I decided to make my charcter a little nicer and more opren after having this experince.

Reflection:
In this lesson miss decided to put us in groups of 4 people. As we are focusing on the tv show big brother we were given a task to do in our characters. The task was to act like we were in our characters and we are entering the house for the big brother tv show. We had to express our emotions through actions. For me I decided to act exaggeratedly amazed like that was nothing I saw before. 

In my group I had Davide, Malak and Yusup. What we did was that we made a scene where we decided for me to go in and see all the places in the house.Then Malak would come in and we would talk for some time.Next Davide would come and we would continue talking with him and then Yusup would come in and since I was the first one to come in I would show them around.After that we decided for me to make them drinks as my character is bartender and we would just talk.For the three freezes they were when we first met, then when I went to show them the rooms in the house and finally when we sat down to talk. 

In this experinece we had to create our own scene.We had to use our charcters personilty to fit it into the scnee and also see how each charcter should act in each part of the scene.Other than that we also practiiced it a multiple times and we had to choose whther we shoudl do extrenem expressions or not.Alsp we gad to see what expression we m=need to do whiel doign the parts of the scene.For exmaple fior me I had to see when to act surprised but when I shoudl be mean.I als gad to see if I needed to do extreme part so tahn my acting could be good and so that my caghrcretr ciuld appear clearly to the audience with my acting nad my expressions.

Anothee thing is taht I think that this experience was very ebneficial for me as it was my frist time to act in fron t if an audinece as my chacrter.Other than taht I was also able to show my development in my chsrcater from y aost class as I decidede ot slightly hcgnae her behavior.Lastyl I think that it was also very beficial for me as I was able to experience a new part of the unit which helped me learn new things taht  I shoudl develop in my charcter fr the enxt time I act with a group so taht I could improve my expression of y charcter but also my general behavior liek speech, or discussion or hand motions and amny other things that I could improve in my charcter.

My unit character

Here is an image of me in a floral short skirt and a white t-shirt with a red scarf.The reason I chose this outfit was that I thought that it would match my character as a person working in a bar.The reason I thought it matched my character was that I think that bartenders usually were short things when they go work in the bar which is why I wore this as my background is a bartender so mist fo my clothes would be things that are suitable with my job.The reason I wore a floral one was that I thought it would be something that showed my personality as I'm a nice person but sometimes I can be mean which is just like in the skirt as it is black put filled with colorful flowers.The reason I wore that which e t-shirt is that since I'm a bartender I would not have luxurious colorful t-shirts which is why I chose for it to be white as it is a simple color and as a bartender, it would be a color that I own since most of the time I dress simply.The reason I didn't want it to have patterns is also to show my simplicity in clothes due to my job, also as it would be something suitable with my background as a person.The reason I chose to wear a red scarf is as I am generally fro Russia I'm used to wearing something over my t-shirt due to the weather and since I am a bartender this is only for the most precious accessories I have as clothes.My expression in this picture shows that I am attention seeking but also showing that I have authority by putting my hand on my side.


In this outfit I am wearing the same white t-shirt as the past picture, In this picture, I am also wearing the same red scarf.The reason I am wearing the same ones is as I said before I am simple due to my background if being a bartender which means that I didn't have many clothes.Other than that this time I am wearing black pants instead of the floral skirt I was wearing is because black is as this color is something that describes me as a character since I am not a very nice person always and that I am a carefree spirit that doesn't care about what anyone tells her.Other than that I am not a very patient person and sometimes my anger gets the better of me which is why I chose to wear it.Other than that it is also a simple color that I own due to my background of being a bartender as is a simple person due to that background.My expression is more like showing off my appearance but it is also a mad expression and a mean expression due to where my hands are but also as I have a kind of smirk on my face showing how I am showing off and attention seeking but also more of a mean person but not always as I also have a nice side that is there most of the time.That is shown in the picture as I still have a small smile but also a smirk showing how I have both sides mean but also nice.





For this Unit my character is a Russian woman, I have a carefree spirit and I don’t care what people say, I always say what is on my mind and most of the time I am quite mean, however, sometimes I can be nice. I went to college for marketing but that dint works out for me so I had to get my income from my job as a bartender in Russia.Most of the time I am quite judgmental and I think of myself very highly.I am also very attention seeking and always want people around me.For my clothes, I decided to wear something simple as I am a bartender and don’t afford many things but also some way fancy to hide how I am a bartender.Also, I have decided to wear something short as that is what bartenders usually wear which would make it one of the things I'm used to wearing.I am also quite short tempered due to how my life hasn’t worked out for me very well.I also believe that I  should be famous and am extremely talented and I  must be found and brought to the famous world and become a celebrity.Above I have a kind of resume showing my likes and dislikes and my general things like my favourite tv show, my favourite food, what I like in a person what I don't like in a person, my least favourite food, my age, where I lived, my qualification, my current job and many other features of me as my character.

Drama Improvisation video- Grade 9





Here is the video of our improvisation play in my group of Davide, Ward, and Yusup. In this play, I am a Russian ethnicity which went to college but works as a bartender.In this play, I am meeting with the rest of my housemates which are the people in the rest of my time.

In this task, we had to improvise as a team a scene where we attempt to introduce ourselves as our characters to each other due to how we will be living together for some time in the house.In the task, we introduced each other with our names, our age, our jobs and many other general features about ourselves.After we introduced ourself we made a small improvised conversation that highlighted our character, however, since this was our first time acting I was able to think of improvements to do to my character.

Personally, I believe that I was able to do well and I was able to use many skills during the improvisation as imagination to help think of what I should say or di and improvise a line or a certain action.Another skill I used was that I projected my voice very well and I made an accent so that it could show my character.The last skill that I also used was hand motions to express my emotions more and make them more emphasized t show my character.

In this task, I think there are some minor things that I can improve like that I can try and develop my character a little bit like changing the behavior a little bit by making her a little nicer and not very mad all the time.A second thing I can improve could be that I maybe I shouldn't make my voice too loud and maybe I could slightly be to the side so that the audience could see some of my expressions and motions.

Claymation project reflections

Week 1:
In this week that was when we started the last art in our creative arts rotation.In our Tuesday lesson   it was our very first lesson in music.In this lesson we were introduced to our now topic for the rest of the rotation that we have in music.We first spoke about the topic and the teachers introduced to us the title and our topic was now going to be claymation.We then had a presentation where we talked about the basic definition of claymation.In the presentation Ms.Cross then presented the project itself and what we were going to be asked to do. After that,  we watched some videos that gave us more information about what claymation is and how it is made.We also saw several videos so that we could learn about claymation and how it was made.For the Wednesday lesson me and my group met together in the music class. Before we got to work we watched a video of one of the claymation final product examples so we could get the idea of what it would look like as a final product.After we watched the movie we then started discussing what we saw in the movie and we discussed the different features there are in claymation.After the discussions we had our teachers clarify our tasks and the project in general for this term. After she presented the project and clarified it whit all it's details we started to choose our groups. Later on after some time we ended up with our groups.In my group I had 3 musicians and 3 artists.My 3 musicians were myself, Rania and myself and for my artists I had Davide, Yusup and Adma.o. That was when we finalized our group for this term. After that we had to choose the type for performance we would have to compose for this term, we decided to choose fairy tale with horror as that was something we would like to compose this term.

Week 2:
After the past lesson where we chose our groups and our type of performance that we were going to work on for the rest of the term we fist gathered at the teachers.When we gathered they showed us a powerpoint that was made by the other grade 8 class.This presentation continued some steps that we needed to know for our planning stage before working on the project physically. On this presentation they showed us the action plan the other year 8 class completed, after that they then showed us a slide where we would have to write and complete our storyline. In this lesson we started created our tory and our action plan for that powerpoint. in the beginning our story was based on Little red riding hood.Our general story was almost the same as little red ridding hood however, the only difference there was, was that we edit all the events in the story to make them some kind of horror and we even turned little red riding hood into an evil, depressed person so that it could add to the element of horror.After we finished the storyline we started discussing the action plan and we were able to complete with the story briefly ( however we didn't put it on the powerpoint yet as it was not finalized and also we were able to partially finish the finalized action plan.IN the Wednesday lesson when we gathered we found out that we wanted to change the story so we then changed the story to make it based on goldilocks however, we didn't change the idea of still making it horror.After we finalized and decided on the full story and finalized the action plan. After that we decided to start working on the project, after we finished the story Kiyara drew the art students some character designs for our project. For the art students we allowed them to draw a brief storyboard to help themselves in their work.For us, the music students we decided to start composing music.Soon enough we started to play the piano and composing different pieces.Between the 3 of us we decided to split the composing of music and allow myself to do the horror music, Rania to do the happy music and Kiyara do the tension music as we felt we needed a variety of elements for music for the story.

Week 3:
For week three on Tuesday we were still gathered with the art in one class however, we divided the work so that each department would start on working on something for the project.For music we started directly into attempting to create musical pieces for our show, we then allow the art departament to start roughly drawing the story board and roughly also draw the characters so that by next week they would be able to start creating the puppets.For the music we directly went into discussing the different types of music that we needed and we briefly wrote the different types of music we needed however we didn't physically create much compositions in that lesson but majorly discussed the music but also help the art as sometimes they would joke around and not do their work which then resulted in us needing to help them complete the work of drawing the characters os that we could finalize the planning and next week start creating the puppets.By the end of the lesson we were able to know the types of the music we needed but fro the art they hardly completed anything and were unable to draw the story board and the characters .For the Wednesday lesson we got divided so the art went downstairs while my department ( the music stayed upstairs).Automatically we divided the music so tat we would be able o complete the work faster but also be able to compose them well individually.For myself I was given the horror music, Rania was given the happy music and Kiyara gave herself the suspense music we would use in multiple scenes.During the lesson we chose one of the practice rooms where we all sat and our music.Me and Rania both chose to use the piano while Kiyara was writing down the scenes and seeing which music we put for each one.By the end of the lesson we didn't compose actual music however, we jotted down the ideas we had.

Week 4:
This week was our second week to split as an art class and a music class.In the beginning after we split we entered the music class.Soon Ms.Cross gave us some announce,nets and notices for the class and the instruments.Later on we then went into the back classes ti continue composing music pieces that we would use for our project performance. As soon as we went in we started working as we already delegated our jobs.Me and Rania started composing the horror and happy together as we were able to help each other in certain stages and in one of our compositions it was actually one idea from me and an idea from her that we combined. With the piano counting all our compositions we were able to create around 3 to 4 compositions of piano for happy, tension and horror..Meanwhile for the Wednesday lesson I was unable to go as I had the tech fair and I had to stay due to the fact that my partner went to a lesson so one of us had to stay. However, I was updated by my peers that they were able to complete more compositions this lesson and that the art group was going okay but also, that we had to add a new member which was Ibrahim into our music departement due to a misunderstanding that he had with his group which forced him to go into out group instead.I was also updated that the music department was able to accomplish some work of composing while the art department was not able to accomplish much due to how they were not seriously working and actually completing work.

Week 5:
For week five it was our final week in term 2 but we were able to accomplish mnay things in the mysic department but we were only able to accomplosh mininmal thinga in our art deprtment.For the tuesday lesson me and my depratment again fired off with the composing, Me and rania went on to the Piano and we decided to create the compostoitons togther as we foudn that we could creatre better compositions as a dual rather than as sperate indidivduals as we were able to imrpove each others compositions to make them even better.Me and rania spent he lesson creating piano compositions minaly for horror and then as we wereable to help each other a lot mkaing it better then it was.While we worked together we also foudn that we were able to harmonize an combine the pitches which then leadedus to be able to compose s horror compositino was not short but also soundede etremelty good due to the combination of pitches.By the end of the lesson we were able to compose around 4 compostions that had 2 happpy and two horror that me and Raniab worked on.Meanwhile, for our partner Ibrahim ever since he joined he has continuosly been unable to come uo with any comositions and we hvae tried to encourag ehim however we continue to find no result from him .On the wednesday lesson we tried using dofferent intsiruemnts rather than continueosly using the Pianonfro all our compositions.After using the piano for 2  weeks we decided to use some other instrument and decided to use the xylophone.With the xylophone we were able to create around 2 compositions for happy tension and horror.For the xylephone we foudn that we could create mnay dual compositiontions with it if we played it togther and if we matched and were able to harmoize different pitches on the zylaphoe but also of we played the same notes we could create some good compositions.Using the different xylaohones we werwe able t o comnie the different pitches and notes mkaing them sound unison but also sounding extremely good due to the similarity in notes but combination in picthches mkaing it more in unison.By the end of the lesson we were able to come up with 3 xylaphone compositions that had one horror and 2 happy.For our partner Igrahim he was again unable to come up with nay compositions.

Week 6:
During week 6 we were intoduced ot our new teacher, we pent most of the lesson intorducing ourselves to here and talking to here about our project that has been presented to us in the revious term, each student then had to intorsuce themseves ot here and intoduce to her the groups.We sat in our groups in front of here for her t be able to wirte down the groups.For this periodj we were in the art room as the art tecaher was also intoducing her to the project and we will hvae to be doing ofor it.After some time of intorduction we were left to go to out class where we continued to intorduce ourself to the tecaher.With lottle time left in the lesson we were stilll able to fit in osme work so we then composed some running music that was done by Rania and also one horro Piano compositin that we both worked on, Ibraghim also attempted showing us somehting on the drusm but it htne ended up being him joking aorund.By the end of the lesson me and Rania were able to come up with 2 compositions.Meanwhile for the art, out partner Kiyara went dow starts to help them and Davide also got clay for them to work with.Sadly, they still wernet able to complete a single charcter for the whole lesson except for parts of charcters.For the wedenesday lesson Davide forgot his clay so the art were unable to wprk on their chracters.For the music our partner Rania was absent so me and Kiyara decided to go down and help the arts group, Kiyara helped the boys in the art deprtnmet for the bakchgoeunds while I used some pf te clay that was availble in class to create the chicken, Kentocky.By the end of the lesson we endede up with one backgroudn thta was made by Kiyara and a chicken that was made by me, the boys worked for some of the time but mainy messed around while Ibrahim again did not od anything for th whowle lesson and jsut messed around.

Week 7:
During week 7 we were able to finalize all our compositions by the end of the week and for the music department we mostly wen to help the art deprtment to finsh there work.On the tuesday lesson, for the music deprtment we finslized all our music compositions and we made sure that we have written all the notes to the compositions in the notebook so that next week we wouldrecord them on to muxcrft to out thme all in one file.Next Kiyara orgainzed the scenes neatky in correct order, and she also out the tyeoes of music fir each scene so thst nrct errk uding the order er eould be able to use it to put the music in order fo the scenes.For the other hald of the mudiv we went doewnnand helped the art.When we went down we foud thatthey hardly did any work and onely had one backgeound done for the whole time.I found it quite disapponintng as I imagined that they could have down musch more in the time they were given.When we saw that we strted working in the clay puppets.I strted working on the parts of the three witches as I found myslef able to complete that.By the end of the lesson I was able to finsh all the parts of the witches and me and my oartner Kiyara decided to meet afterschool to finsh some of the artwork as the art deoprtment hardky didb anywork.By the end of the lesson I was able to finsh all the parst of the witches and they were able to foisnh another background.For the wedensday lesson we continued working on the art deprtament as they needed quite alot of hlep so that we would be able to finsh the art deprament form the project.For the lesson I finshed the wit hes fully and I made all there parts and I also collected wire pices to make the actual witch and to out it all together.For the about 15 more minutes I continued to wrok on the final witch and then to put it all together i decided to stay afterschool with my partner Kiyara so that we could finsh the charcters and out the all otgether for the next lesson.For some of the time I also went upstirs with rania and made sure that we had all our music done for the scenes so that for next week we would strt putting them on mixcraft and finally out them all on one file.By the end of the lesson I had all the pices of the witch vharcters and all the wire so that afterschool I would just need to put them all togther and also for the golcilocks as it was partially ruined and I had to fix them again.During the afterschool I was able to finalize all the characters.By the end of the week we were still unable to get any results from Ibrhuim from our dpeartmeny and we couldnr give him any responsibilities to complete.

Week 8:
For week 8 we were able to finalize all the individual recodirings fro hte music and we are ready to out them all in one file next week to finalize the music.For the tuesday lesson we played dome of our copostitions and decided which one we woudl use in which scne as we had multiple ones from one type which meant we needd ot decide which eact composition would go in which scene.All this oinfromation was recodede in my temate\s book Kiyara where we kept all the ocmpositions and their infromation.For that lesson we allowed miss to listen to our music and we asked her for feedbaclk and she said that if we wanted we could add anything but it is extremely good at this point but as we were done and had free time sh esaid we coudl.But, we though that we were happuy with our music so she agreed with us and we deicded that we should dtrst recodring to finalize all the ixcraft recodrings.Sady the lesson was over by that time but we were now ready to record by next lesson on to mixrcaft.For the wednesday lesson me and my parttner arnia stayed upstairs in the music room and we bith worked on individuallyyy recodring the compositions.We divided so tat each of us would record some compositions that we would then out together all in one.In the beginning I found it quite hard to use mixcraft as it was my first tiem using it this yera so I wasnt very confsident using it.So I decided to try and see if mauybe Ibrhaim would be able to help us here as I was trying to give him a task as he was unable to come uo witht  a ocmposition.Sadlly e was unable to and just left and went to fool aorund.I then deiceded to ask Rania as she found it much easier to miscarft so she tauht me and we btih strted recodring,During the lesson both of us helped each other in some way throughiut.For kiyara she went and also helped the art ot finslize some of the things like some of the chracters and one backgeound as some of thme broke and dried up.By the end of the lesson we were able to have all the indivivual recordings and kiyara was able ti help the art deprtemnt mwnawhile, Ibrahim still did nt help in any of the depratments again.

Week 9:
For week nine it was the final week where we needed to finalize all the details and strt filming and editing fro the perfromnace.For the week me and my deprtamnet were done with all the compositions and we had all the individual recordings.For the tuesday lesson we went down to the artand dissapointingly we found that they were not done with the work which menat we were unable to film anyhting until now.So for the lesson me and rania went upstairs ti the music room and then we foudn out that we had to convert all the compositons to a certain type so, we spent the lesson converting the reordings.When we finshed we allowed miss to listen to them and she was veyr happy eith them and she siad that all we had to do was put them in one rerding.For that we deided that since kiyara still needed to add simething we would sned it to her and she would out thme all in one.Then we sent them all to kiyar and we all wen down to help the art.By the end of the lesson we were able to finsh one more background which was the forstet background and also the fram background.For our partner Ibrahim he was still unable to delver us any work.For the art deprtamnet Kiayara mainly did all the work whil ethey partially helped her.For the wedenesday lesson me and Rania foudn out that Kiyara was unable to open the and she was a;so unable to put her recording.So for this lesson me and Rania deicede to finalize the one file that inludes all the recordings of the scenes.We used the book where it inluded th eorder of the scenes to out the music i  order.For the recoridigs we decided to leave the timing thye were in and then once we strted editing we would strtech the recordings according to the timing of the scenes as much as we want .Me an dramiba were then able to finsh the recrding half through the lesson so thne we deiceded to go down to the art deorptment to strt filimg.When we went donw we found thta they still ddi nto finsh and that the boys were not working instead Kiyra was the inly one working in that time.So wedeicede to help Kiyara as we foudn out that the chickne which I have created before was actually ruined and also the goldilocks.So for the time we had in the art deprtmnet we finslized all the props so that we would be able ot have everything finalized.By the end of th elesson we finalized all our  recordings for the music and all we had left was one setting for the art art.Also, me, Rania and KIyara decided to come afterschool to the week after on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday to film and finslize eveyrhting.For thsi week Ibrahim still did not gov eus any reults and for the secind lessson we allowed him ton jyst work on hi blog as he was very far behind on it.

Week 10:
For the fitrst lesson on thursday we continued ti film as we werent done yet and we stayed during the lesson in one of the classes and we then spent the whole lesson taking moreimage of more scenes as we firgured out that we didnt have enough miuntes for the claymation presentation so we decided to addd a scene that would make it a little longer so that it could be between the range that was asked from us for the presentation which was 5 to 10 miunyes so we decidede to add some more scens so that the claymation oresnetaio woudl be the appropiate length.During the lesson the rets of the group stayed on theur electrinics as the rest of the boys stayed on their laptops and then Kiyara apent the lesson on editing apps and also one some of the work on music in mixcraft, she spent the lesson in a different rooom thn the rest of the group.After that me and Rania strted working so that KIyara could use it when editing it.By the end of the lessn we were able to have all our scenes ready si thar we would be able to have all pour pictures so that we could use it.For the next lesson we planned t strt editing and put all our iages in order and also try different editing apps.

For the second lesson of the week we found an app thta oculd help us edit.Automatically we strated useing the app.After that we decidede ti show it to miss to ensure that it would be okay as we didnt want to handit in wiht any mistakes causing us to hav ea problme incase we didnt show it toi mis  before we handede it in.Whehb we showed it to her she then said that there canno t be a logog shown on the video which we foubd a problem as almost all apps that are made for editing ahve a logo.For most of thw lesson we tried to find a way to try t either blurr it out or maybe even crop it out os that the video wouldnt have a logo and we would be alowed to use an aop.Evn thigub we did a lot of research we were still unable ti find a way to crop out  the logo so then we wpuld be able to use the app to create our clyamtion as of we used any reular software it owuld take us a longer time to edit the video and to be bale to finsh it by the dealine.By the end of the lesson we were able to decided to use imovie for the presentation.

Week 11:
During week 11 it was th week where we had to finalize th eporject and hand it in by the end of the week.For the tuesday lesson we decided to finalize the editing ofo the music so that we would add it once we wer done editing the video which Kiyara was currently working on.During the lesson the buys worked with us to try to fugure out if we would be able to use an app but also not have a logog on the video.We tried to reserahc different techniques t try to do it and in the middle of the lesson we were able to finsh editing the video.However near to the end of the lesson, I had to elave early as my dad came to pick me uo however.Kiyara was almost done editing the video at the time and my partner me and Rania  were able to edit the full file and made it all in one file ans saved however, we were unbale to adjust them exacty with the timingd sof the video as we were not dine edting the whole video unbaling us to fully finslize the music.But, after I left Rania, Kiyara and th rest of the group stayed and continued their work in the lesson.Meanwhile Kiyara and Rania staye after school so that thye would finalize doing the music and save it while Kiyra continues to edit.

For the wednesday lesson, we finalized the whole video, the music and everything however, we deidede that we needed to do the voice overs.During the lesson as a group we sat and we recordede the voice overs and we tried to look for a way to pout them in th evideo when we deit so that they can be claer but by the end of the lesson we fiund out that we couldnt accomplish that.For the lesson we also put on the tomings where we out the speech and we were also able to out the music onto the video but not precisly instead we only briefly out them on the app without adjusting that as we deiceded to leave that for later.During the lesson we finslzedthe whole video except editing it and adjusting it to exact timings so that it could be finalized.By the edn of the Lesson we were bale to finlize everyting except we were still unable to know how we were goign to show the text or even narrate the video.For that me and my partners Kiyara and Rania decidede to stay afterschool so thta we would finslize it fully and submit it on time.By the 2 lessons we wer eable to finalize the whole video and submit on time.


Final Reflection:

throughout the whole unti me adn my group hav worked incredibly hard on theis project.We spent 11 weeks working on this clay,aton ever since we strted art and music.From the very beginning we have worked hard from both sides Art and Music.Evnethough we worked hard on this project, we still had or ups and downs.For this whole project we have successfully been able to complete the assignment well and had it in one time however, throughout there creation of the project we still faced many, many issues I  terms of editing, collaboration creation of art pieces and many hinges I general.One problem that we faced was that for our art group they took a long time to create the characters which the music group was able to create in around 2 lessons however, it want their fault all the time  as sometimes we faced issues as that  our characters were taken from the class and broken and we couldn't do anything about it as we also,lost a character and we had to create it again.Also sometimes the characters would dry up and we wouldn't be bake to work on them the next day.For the problems we faced with editing I was the one editing the final video and it took me very long time for me to be able to do it well with timings accurately as in when to put the music and also I found it very hard to use iMovie but also it was extremely hard to make the speech and the music accurate.Also, we were unable to use the voice overs as it would have ruined the music so we decided to use subtitles which took a lot of time to edit and also took a lot of time in the video.Other than that it also made he video much longer which was a problem that I faced as i had to spend a lot of time to make it shorter.Overall for editing  it took me around 3 hours to finalise  which was a very big problem that I faced. The last problem we faced was that sometimes our art group didn't work efficiently marking the process of creation slower. even though we had math problems we were still able to overcome hen by the end and successfully finish the assignment.

Most of the creation precises well for he unit.asome if the things that went well weremusic due to how as Soonnas we are red the unit we were able to start creating the music which made t much easier when it came to crating the actual music as we all had experience with instruments making it easier for us to create them on time for the assignment.Another thing that also went well but could have gone better was the sets as they all seemed to be good but hey could have been improved in terms of appearance as they weren't the most aesthetically pretty ones but also they didn't include much detail no making them look extremely pretty however, they stilll looked good in some way.Other than that even though it took them a very long time the clay characters were good however they weren't very good as they weren't made very well and we were unable to make them with details and as pretty as we wanted them to be.Another thug  that went well was that I was able to collaborate well and we didn't have much problems collaborating together however I was able to collaborate really mainly with tow partners which were Kiyara and Rania however, with the rest of the gorionI was still able to coppbaorat well hit not very well.The last thing gay went well was the siting of the music as we didn't find it too hard as we already had experience with mixcrafft but we still ha d'Aimé issues using it however we were able to do the editing well.To conoïde I believe that we did a good job completing the assignment how ever it could be much there next time and we cils improve in many ways however, it was still very good and the final product was elves good but could till be imported in terms of creation and finializibv.

Art reflections



Week 1: 

Today our class entered the next class in the rotation which was art, in this class, we then gathered with the music class.We first listened to the teachers while they introduced themselves to us and told us a head start on what was going to happen in the coming term as our work.Our first lesson we were firstly introduced to the interdisciplinary unit that we were going to have with music, they introduced out unit which was phantasmagoria.In the beginning, the teachers explained the general meaning of the unit and the full definition if it in simple language.After that, we watched a video that gives a brief example of what phantasmagoria was and what is it through images.The video also showed us some examples of things people created for phantasmagoria.Another thing the video showed us was that it described what phantasmagoria play should artistically and physically be like and all the different parts of it and their descriptions. To conclude in this lesson  I think that we were `bale to successfully understand the full definition if this unit and have understood the explanation well. in this lesson we also decided that  had to take lead of this or Presha as the rest of them decided that they didn't care about the grade of the project and didn't really bother to take lead and also, we decided to use my story for the performance or Presha's as they said that either they got a bad grade other story or they didn't even complete the story.Lastly, I felt quite stressed and pressurized at that time as I felt that of anything went wrong the blame would go on me and it would all be my fault.

Week 2&3:

After were introduced to the unit in the first week of arts the next thing we did was the teachers introduced our project if the term to us, what they did was they first gave a brief explanation if what the project was going to be and what the process was going to be like and what will it be like  through the process and other details like that which we discussed for some time with the class with the teachers.After we finished the explanation and the discussing we started discussing the due dates and what our tasks were going to be throughout the process of the project, we also discussed what our tasks going to be like and what we were going to be asked to do through this term.After the full discussion about everything in they then introduced us to the groups we were going to have and how they decided to divide the students in the class, they then put us in our teams to start working on the project within our groups.To conclude in the second week we were bale to start and be introduced to the unit and the project and also we were able to start work within our teams on the same day.

After the teacher has introduced the unit in our first week and we were then introduced to the full project and the groups that we will be working on throughout the term we then finally started to work together properly as a group. The first thing we did was that we gathered in our groups in the class and sat in different places to be separated we then started working.We first planned briefly what our performance was going to be like and the different parts of the performance, later on, I then started to delegate assignments. After that, we started working our first step to start planning our performance which was to create a timeline with all the different parts and descriptions for the performance. What we were able to do in the lesson was that we created a timeline with the artistic choreography the music choreography etc.To conclude I believe that we were able to create our timelines successfully in this lesson and that we were able to delegate well.


Week 4:


After being introduced to the project and the full unit we finally got divided into our teams. After that, we finally got a chance to actually work with our groups and cooperate to delegate our assignments and finish them.This week in our lesson we then split into the art and music groups and each of us went to their class.As I was in the art class I went with three people from my group that also came with me to the art class,  we then were introduced to what was going to be work in the art class.The way we started was that we sat in our group and we also discussed the different artistic tasks we had to complete for our performance. Second of all in the lesson, me and another person from the team created an action plan for the upcoming weeks we have until the production so that we would be organized and easily able to delegate our work and tasks until we perform the production we are creating.To conclude I believe that we have done well in terms of planning and carrying an action plan but also plan our artistic tasks and discuss lastly, also the way we cooperated ti be bale to delegate our work and discuss in terms for our art group.This was the week where we decided we were going to start physical work the week after. During that lesson when we created the action plan the only people that were actually working were me and Presha as the rest of them were sitting together and not working with us, however, Bassel and Sigurd sometimes came and helped us, however, Mao, Hyenhoe, and Nicolai did not work at all whatsoever.


Week 5&6:


During week five we finally divided into our classes to actually start work on our puppets and backgrounds for our performance.For the lesson, we decided to discuss the storyline and we also drew the storyline and divided the whole line into different scenes which we then drew into small squares where we drew the scene with the characters tat were going to be involved in it.WE then decided on the type of puppets we were going to create which was colored puppets.We then listed the characters we were going to have according to our storyline and according to our drawn scenes that we had. M and Presha were mainly the ones working while Bassel was working on researching for some background ideas and other puppet ideas but, at certain times he would wander off and look at other people's projects instead of working however when he would come back he would work however did not always take it very seriously.For Presha, we were able to work well together and we were able to communicate with each other well, I was also able to rely on her with tasks which allowed me to be bale to divided my work with her and then we would show each other our work and take feedback from each other.Meanwhile, Hyenhoe didn't work whatsoever he would just sit at the table however he never offered her, he never asked what he should do and when we tried communicating we always ended up arguing with each other with no result at the end.To conclude, we were able to draw our storyline during the lesson however we were not able to cooperate or communicate very well ( I wasn't able to mainly with Hyenhoe) but we were able to start on thinking of ideas for our puppets and backgrounds. IN that week we also received an individual powerpoint assessment that we had to complete for the week after that talked about the Phantasmagoria magic lantern performances and the different elements and features included in the topic.

During week 6 we were also in our art class and were split from our music group.When we first came me and Presha went into work. Bassel then went onto his computer and then continued researching ideas for backgrounds.I and Presha the decided to draw our puppets onto paper.We then divided the different puppets on the both of us, we delegated the different characters for each of us to draw.The both of us then tried drawing them first on white paper, I drew my puppets and I drew each of them the size about an A3 paper as miss said that, that was the average size for the puppet.I then drew the main character while Presha drew the character that she thought of which was the grudge girl.Meanwhile, Bassel downloaded and editing app for him ti be able to edit backgrounds so that he may get background ideas and then search them in the internet to be able to edit them using the app on his computer.However, sometimes he would not focus on his work and go on his phone which would cause me to be annoyed with him and then we would argue.For Hyenhoe he did not do a single thing during the lesson and didn't work at all and didn't event think if creating a puppet or helping me, Presha or Bassel, I tried to tell him to work on something, however, he didn't.By the end of the lesson, we were able to stick around 3 puppets which were: the main character ( Anne), the grudge girl and the horror doll. Also, Bassel was able to create some of the backgrounds that were needed.

Week 7:
During week 7, I and my art group started to draw the rest of our final puppets.In the lessons me and Presha cutout out the puppets that we stuck the week before that we already had on cardboard.I and Presha then divide the pieces of cardboard so we can save time.Immediately we started cutting, we mainly send the cutter to cut out the details also so our puppets would be as detailed and neat as possible.I and Presha were also able to cooperate together well without arguing a without having to deal with problems.Then Bassel was also continuing his backgrounds and creating more backgrounds for the different scenes, I then also had to support him throughout the process as sometimes he needed to ask me for advice and help in terms of the editing needed and also the choice of backgrounds. Bassel was able to focus this lesson better than before and was also able to accomplish his task for the lesson.After me and Presha cut out the puppets we drew 2 other puppets which were the friend and the scout captain.Also, we then decided to ask Hyenhoe to complete a task for homework as he spent the rest of the lessons before he never worked.He then started drawing his puppet which was the bus, however, while he worked sometimes he would drift to other tables however, he was still able to draw his puppet but anytime we tried to cooperate or communicate we would end up arguing and shouting at each other.Next, I then decided ti go check on the music students.When I went to them I found them both on their computers and they didn't have anything to give me but some random sound effects, when I saw that I was astonished as I expected a little more as we basically had nothing proper.For homework, I then colored the puppets and told Hyenhoe to finish his puppet and cut it.To conclude for art, we were able to finish many things and are almost ready to finalize all our things.



Week 8: 
During this week we tried to finalize all our puppets and backgrounds.In the art lesson, we tried to finalize everything. I worked with Bassel to finalize all the backgrounds and make sure that we had all the ones that we needed to perform with and that we needed for the performance.I and Presha finalized all the cutting of the details of the puppets and cutting out all the clothes and the body parts.I also then helped Hyenhoe to help him finalize his bus puppet and in coloring it and sticking to cardboard and cutting out the details for the bus for it to be the right the shape.Next, we finished by getting sticks and sticking them to the puppets for us to be bale to hold them up in the performance.After finalizing all our art materials we went up to the music room.And then we saw that they weren't doing anything and all they had were the random sound effects that they gave us the week before.That was when we decided that I and Presha had to overtake the music department as the music was in 2 weeks and we didn't have any music to present.Me and Presha then started taking pieces of music and using percussion instruments to complete pieces of music that we could use in the performance for this Mao helped us, however, Nicolai just went on his phone him Bassel and Hyenhoe and were no use so we just left them outside at the desk and we sat inside ad completed the music.As Sigurd was extremely good at drawing we asked him f he could make us the last puppet for our performance.To conclude me and Presha had to do the music as our group hardly did anything and when we did for them Nicolai, Bassel and Hyenhoe didn't even bother helping us doing music.

Week 9:
During this week I was extremely pressurized as out music was not that good and I was panicking as we hardly practiced and most of the group said they couldn't  come in lunch times as they didn't want to waste their breaks on the project and disagreed to meet during any breaks or u chose to practice.By this week we had everything finalized all our puppets, backgrounds and music. It was not finalized but we knew we didn't have any more time at all to fix anything or do anything.In that week I then planned an after school where we would have to practice performing the show.When we came after school, we first startedpracticing and we out the backgrounds, however, Nicolai, Bassel, and Hyenhoe went and left during the practice to go buy things and they would tell me they would be seeing their parents.When we tried practicing we then found n that colored puppets would not work, so after all the work I spent on coloring all the puppets it ended up as that we were obliged to do shadow puppets for us to be able to perform.Next, we then put all the backgrounds in a slideshow so then it should be easier to transition between the event and the different scenes during the performance.We kept on trying to practice however every time we tried the boys in my group would joke around and whenever I tried to tell them something to do they would not listen to me or they would not take it seriously and take it as a joke.By the end of the session we didn't practice at all and that was when I felt even more pressurized.To conclude when we tried to practice we were unable to and colored puppets didn't work which forced us to do shadow puppets. Also, I gave Bassel the responsibility of creating the promo to give it to me the coming week

Week 10:
This week we didn't have any lessons as we had the holiday.During this holiday I called my group to come to school.However, the only ones who came for it were me and Presha, Bassel, Mao, and Sigurd.During the practice, Bassel and Mao didn't help at all they did were play around in the class and leave to buy things to eat and whenever I asked Bassel to do something he would say that he was too lazy to do it.For Sigurd, he had to leave in the middle and when I asked him to do something he would not take it seriously and would joke around during the task and Presha did well did everything mostly well, however, sometimes during the practice she would start laughing and joking around but not always.We were hardly even able to practice well and we couldn't do anything anymore as the performance was going to be the week after and we didn't have any time to do anything or improve anything in the puppets, the backgrounds or the music.Later on, we left and I then had to finalize the script to be ready for Sunday as our performance was on Monday.Nicolai and Hyenhoe didn't even bother coming to the practice which made me even more stressed as they didn't know what they had to do on the performance day.To conclude, we had practice however it wasn't much if a result as most of my team members were on their phones or joking around which didn't benefit the practice at all and resulted din us being unable t practice at all.


Week 11:

This week was the week where we performed to the parents on Monday. Bassel then ended up giving me the Promo this Sunday which is a week late and that annoyed me quite a lot as that showed that I couldn't really one my group to help me.On Monday we had our final practice before the performance after school. I and Presha waited for the rest of our group to come however, they didn't come.Soon we found out that Mao actual;;y went home and that the rest of them were at Spinneys and when I called them they would just joke around.Finally, after a very long time, they came and I was forced to give last minute delegations and responsibilities.For the performance, I believe what went well was the music, the transition between the slides and movement of the puppets when they were up.I believe what could have been improved was I could have said my narration slower, the rest of my group should have put the puppets up in the right time and the puppet should have moved according to my narration.In general, I believe we did well but we could have improved on certain things to make it even better.After that performance, we performed it to the class and we were unable to practice before that which for me was something horrible but the rest of the group didn't really care.I believe three things that went well were that my narration was at the right speed, the slides transitioned well and the puppets went up in the right time.Three things that I believe didi not go well were that maybe I shouldn't have repeated the same thing through my whole narration, we could have played the music better and they could not have shown their hands when holding the puppet.Everyone in my group thought we did well because they didn't bother and they didn't care except me and Presha we though that we didn't do well as a big percentage of the performance messed up which was something that we were extremely annoyed of as we knew we could do nothing about it.To conclude, I believe we didi better in the parent's performance rather than the class performance and I think that we could have improved on both performances but we could have improved more on the class performance.
