Stage combat performance



Character Descriptions:


First character - The first character is Jessica, who finds fun in bullying the nerd of the school, Jane. She's filthy rich and lives in a huge mansion as an only child. Jessica is incredibly bratty and spoiled, who always has to get her way. Jessica detests Jane and is always bullying her for fun and to embarrass Jane in front of the whole school.Jessica has always made Jane feel horrible about herself by embarrassing her and spreading embarrassing rumors about her.

Second Character - The second character is Jane, she has been bullied for many years by Jessica her bully, she is also shy and has no friends, she is always lonely and is always shy to see or talk to anyone.She has been bullied for many years and is aching fro her revenge aginst her bully for many years.Jessica has been harassing Jane consistently and Jane has always been embarrassed and everyone makes fun of her for many years.Jessica always spread rumors about Jane which makes feel horrible about herself, Jane finally decided to stand up for Jessica so that she never bullies her again.



The Plot:

What happens in our performance is a simple scene between a popular girl in school and a nerd in the same school.The name of the popular girl is Jessica and the nerd is called Jane.In the beginning, the popular girl comes in with a new outfit. The nerd is then in the same room.The nerd then does not compliment the popular girl (Jessica) on her outfit, unlike the other people. So then the nerd is bullied by the popular girl.The popular girl then is enraged due to the reason that the nerd didn't compliment her and ignoring her outfit.The nerd is then enraged for beating her up and is tired of her being bullied.She then rages and proves the popular girl wrong by blocking all her beats.She then gains revenge over being bullied continuously and beats the popular girl up.

What do I think the performance will be like:

For our coming performance, I think that we might do quite well as we have practiced a lot and we were also able to fully memorize our script and our steps for the performance.A reason I thin we might do well as in all of our practices we were able to do all our steps correctly and also in the correct order without many struggles during our rehearsal.A second reason I think we might do well is that most of the steps that we completed seemed quite realistic and that we were also able to correctly do the knaps without many struggles and also we were able to use our acting techniques so that we would  be able to be our character .

Reflection

For this task I worked with a fellow student called Salma from the class.We had two characters, a bully, and a victim, our plot was the victim finally stand up for herself and to finally get revenge for all those years.Also, our performance was serious and not a comedy.After I have performed I feel like me and my partner has done very well for the task and that we were also able to successfully complete it.The first reason I believe we had done well is that we were able to do all the steps in the correct order, we were able to successfully complete all the steps and were also able to memorize them well enough that we did not forget any of the steps.Other than that I believe that most of our steps seemed realistic and actually seemed done with good technique.Another thing is that our knaps were done well that made the steps seem quite realistic  and also it made the quality of our performance even better.Meanwhile, we also practiced many times and we also practiced memorizing the steps so that we would be able to excel the steps and the knaps too.Another thing is that I believe that our acting skills were good in terms of our characters as we also practiced together a lot to be able to improve our acting and to also be able to be  our character instead of acting the character by practicing.

In this performance, me and my partner  have used several different techniques to perform the different steps and the plot we have planned.Some of the techniques we have used  are knaps, creativity, melodramatic movements , sound effects, facial expressions, hand gestures and whole-body gestures.For the knaps, we used this in the performance so that we can make the steps more realistic.For the creativity, we used it so that we would be able to create the plot.For the melodramatic movements, we used this technique so that we could exaggerate the effects after we slapped or punched.For the sound effects, we used it to act out the sound of pain as an effect of the steps that we did.For the facial expressions, we used that technique so that we could act the effects of the hits so that it seemed more realistic.For the hand gestures, we used them to make our hits and steps more realistic.For the whole body gestures, we used them to make the performance more realistic.


For the performance even though I think we did well but, I still think that they are some points that we could have improved on to make the performance even better.First of all, I think that next time we should try to make it comedy so then it would be easier for us to make a better and more creative plot.Second of all, I think that something we can improve is that maybe we can also improve on exaggerating the effects of the hits more  so that it would make the steps more realistic and the quality of the performance better.


In terms of the unit, I think I have learned many different things that I now know and am also capable of doing very well without a lot of trouble or struggles.Other than that I think that I have done fairly well in the previous tasks and that I was capable of learning and excelling many movements during the unit.Also, I think tat I have much more knowledge than I did before and I have also learned my new skills that I believe I am now able to do very well.Another thing is that I believe that my skills have improved much more after this unit and that my knowledge about stage combat has increased a lot through this unit.


To conclude I think that we were successfully able to complete the task and that we were able to memorize  the steps and do them well in the performance.Other than that, I think that I was able to do extremely well in stage combat and we were also capable of doing the techniques very well consistently throughout the performance.Also, I think I have learned a lot during this unit and that it was extremely beneficial.However, for the performance, I think that we could improve on some points to be able to make the performance even better.

8.The first difference is that the faithful servant is uaully male and provides comic relief, does the dirty work and finds evodence against the villain while the maid servant does non of these and is a female.

9.An aside is when a charcater directky speaks to the audience ot reveal a seceret or a plan that is kept from the rest of the charcter to be able to drag the audience's attention away from any other action on the sateg on focus on the charcter's seceret, the aside should also giveaway the feeling of secerecy towards the audience.

Stange Combat Stage Slap

Reflection:
This week we started a new unit, this unit is about stage combat, this is when we imitate actual fights but we do not actual do them instead we replace the effects of the hits using knaps.A knap is when you perform an action with your hands to imitate the exact sound of a type of it like a slap, a punch, an uppercut etc.The first move in stage combat that we learned was a slap.We learned the slap by practicing in different speeds with a partner.To learn this slap I worked with Rania, what we did to learn this was that we would have a dialogue and then I would slap here and she would show the reaction by knapping and then putting the suitable facial expressions.The steps that we learned for a slap were that we first needed to stand in front of each other with a good amount of space between us to avoid any injuries in the performance of the hit.Next, we learned how to stand off center opposite each other, after that the slapper would have to inform the person being slapped their target and the slapper would have to target his eyes onto that area.We would then practice the slap with the knapping until we felt like we were able to do it correctly and that was how we were able to learn the stag slap.

In this task, I performed a freeze frame for the stage slap with my partner Rania.I believe we were successful in certain points, for example, I think that our dialogue was very good and that we spoke loudly and confidently and we were able to say our lines right.Another thing that I think was very good was that our slap, as commented by the audience seemed very realistic towards them and it seemed like it was an actual slap.However I believe that we were unsuccessful at one certain point, this point is that our knap was not as loud as it was supposed to be and not all the audience could hear it clearly and loudly.Overall I believe we did well in terms of most of the factors but maybe we could make our knap better next time.

I believe that next time maybe me and my partner we could improve on making our slap a little bit more realistic by maybe making the knap a little louder and maybe making the reaction a little bit more realistic instead of making it dramatic.Also, I believe we could raise up the heat in our dialogue to make the slap even more realistic than we did.I think that we could improve our whole performance next time to make it even better than this time, the way I believe we can achieve is that maybe we can practice our dialogue more and maybe we should first practice our slap slowly and then quickly so then it can look better in the performance, therefore we can also practice even more to improve the performance as a whole.To conclude I believe that we did well overall but maybe next time we can improve by practicing more next time and in terms of the image maybe we could have taken it in a different moment to make the quality of the freeze frame better.

Melodrama unit reflection

In this unit, I believe I developed many different skills,but through this unit, the main skills I have developed were melodramatic skills but also my general acting skills.I believe I have learned them through the different tasks, for example, I believe that I have improved my melodramatic skills through the silent movie but also, through our second regular melodramatic movie.The way I have improved my general acting skills was through the multiple acting tasks through the classes.I believe my greatest successes were most of the tasks.For example, I believe my main success was the second movie we did where I worked with Presha, Rania, and Kiyara.The reason I believe so is because in the second movie I think that I improved my acting skills a little better than the silent movie and I was also able to feature more melodramatic actions as there was a script.My second success is train terror.The reason I think so is because I think I acted quite well in it and I was also able to include my knowledge of melodramatic movements in the activity.In the last movie, I believe me, and my members collaborated really well in the task as we were able to equally delegate the roles and made sure each person had a chance to act.Also, I believe we were equally able to divide the tasks so that each person had a part in the task.I think that if it is fit or television it can actually change the way we see the world as we mainly depend on technology nowadays so people may be more attracted to a fit or television more than anything else.Also, I think people could enjoy it more as it is more visual than any other option.I believe our group has met the objective for the reaction from the audience when they watched our group’s movie.However not all of them really showed much reaction but, some of them who showed a reaction laughed and clapped at the end of it which we expected since we worked quite hard on this and put effort into this.Another subject I believe it can be used through is music as I can use melodramatic actions and present my music melodramatically.To conclude I have really enjoyed this unit and I have learned from it and lastly, I have improved my skills a lot through this unit.

Melodramatic silent movie reflections

Save the princess, Save the day

This group consists of Adam, Gunce Cu, Riccardo, Ward and Omar.
For this silent movie I think they were substantial , the reason I believe so is because they were able  to demonstrate a melodramatic silent movie and they were able to successfully present it and also they were able to successfully interpret and identify the features of a silent movie.Overall I believe they did substantial  as they were able to meet the requirements but maybe they could have made it more clear and they could have added more expresssion, costumes and maybe they could have made the video a little brighter so we could be able to see it. 

Birthday Surprise
This group consists of Presha, Nasser,Salma,Arthur and Amal.
For this silent movie I think they were excellent as they were able to execute it very well and they were able to present and demonstrate an excellent melodramatic movie and they were able to perfectly develop their knowledge of meodrama ib their silent movie as they had a lot of expression in their movie and they were also able to act very well and each character clearly expressed their character through their move movements and their acting.Lastly I believe they put an outstanding effort in their movie and the only thing I think they can improve is maybe some of the characters could express themselves a little bit more.

Strapped onto the rails

This group consisted of Sireen, Ibrahim, Karim and Harang.
for their silent movie I believe that they were substantial as they were able present it properly and they were able to demonstrate it well but not very well. I believe that they could have improved in some certain points to be able to improve their play, for example they could have added more action for certain character as some of hem see just doing the same action for quite a long time, also maybe they could have added more expression however, I believe that they have put a good effort but they could improved it a little bit to make it better for next time .


How to find your maiden 

This group consisted of Rania,Kiyara,Sam and Hyeonho   
For their group I believe that they were substantial  as they were very good and they  acted well in  their silent movie also I think that they were able to successsfully present it in their movie and they stayed intask through the whole movie however they could have made the characters more clear and maybe they could have expressed it in a better way and maybe they could have made it a little more melodramatic and they also could have expressed their characters in more than just costumes maybe nextime they can use more expression.Lastly I believe that they have put a good effort but they can improve it for next time .

For our group I believe we were substantial.The reason I believe so is because my group was successfully able to demonstrate a melodramatic play and we were able to present it into a video.Also, I believe that we were able to act well but not very good as we didn't really show much expression during our video and we didn't really express our characters through our movements, our acting, our expression and couple of several other points.Other than that I also think that we could have made our video a little more melodramatic for example we could have used more melodramtic movements, expressions, acting and actions.Lastly I believe we have put good effort in our video but next time we can put more and make our video better by making it more melodramatic improving our acting skills and putting more expression but other than that I believe that we were substantial.

Train terror




Here is the video of my performance Train Terror, in this performance, I was working in a group, this group consisted of Rithan, Me, Harang, Nasser, and Adam.To start with I believe that in the performance there are certain points that were done well in the performance, for example, I believe the way we were able to cooperate and  execute this play, I also think that we were able to equally delegate the roles and divide the lines for each of us so each one of us had their own line.I also think that we were able to perform our play in  a very creative and descriptive way and I also believe that we used our melodramatic skills by making our voice very loud to try and make it like our character , I also think that we used some actions and also a little melodramatic movements to emphasize our character's personality and so we could try and step into our own character's shoes.Overall I believe that our whole group did a very good job in performing the play and working collaboratively together to prepare the play.However, even though I think we have put a very good effort we could have improved this performance through certain points that we could have worked on.Things I believe we could have done was maybe we could have made our performance a little more melodramatic by adding more melodramatic actions and movements to emphasize how melodramatic  the performance is.Other than that even though we managed to use some space during our performance but I also think we could have been more spacious while performing.Lastly what I think we could have improved was maybe we could have done a better job in ending our scene as it did not really have a proper ending that could show the audience that the scene has ended also so we would not have to tell the audience ourselves.Other than that another thing that could have enhanced our scene was if maybe we had some props or costumes.For example, for the costumes and the props,  I believe that I think for the villain I could have used a black scarf and a black top hat as that could have partially represented my character and that I think I could have improved my melodramatic movements using the scarf as it could have enhanced my movements.Also, for the sidekicks they could have used a costume to highlight their character and to emphasize their character during the scene, for the hero, I think he could have used a cape or a mask so that his character as a hero could be very well expressed in the scene.Lastly for general props I believe we could have used ropes to make the scene a little more realistic as the damsel is tied by a rope so with the real rope it could be much more realistic, also at the end the villain and his sidekick are tied with a rope so that part of the scene could also become much more lifelike.To conclude I believe that me and my time had out an excellent amount of overall effort in the scene and I tink that we have performed it very well and we worked collaboratively very well but for next time we could have improved it through certain points like improving our melodramatic skills so that we can make the scene even better, also to enhance it as much as we can instead of just surpass it by using the improvements but also maybe we can enhance by using additional props and costumes to enhance to the best we can.

Here are my images of my first chosen character which is the villain. First of all, I believe that the villain's poses make up the character because as you see in the first image, the villain's expression is quite sly as the villain shows direct eye contact. The villain hides behind the cloak, which also shows that the villain is sneaky as a reason why the villain is  hiding behind the cloak. Other than that, I believe that the villain's expressions in both images really indicate how wicked the villain is. Also, I think that due to his position it really conveys how ignoble and depraved the villain is. Another reason  is due to the villain's melodramatic movements; it really shows how black hearted and how diabolical but also how evil, manipulative and devilish the villain is. Lastly, overall I believe that both photographs portray this character through his expression, props ( my clothes) and poses in the pictures.

Here are my two photographs of my second chosen character, the maiden. To start off, I think that both images portray my character in a very good way. The reason is that in both images, the maiden's poses show that she is extremely vulnerable as in the images it shows the maiden standing in a very feminine and frightened  manner which makes her seem delicate and fragile . Also due to her clothes and her expressions, it makes her seem very faultless and  innocent as the poses in the images are very dainty and sensitive and do not show any vigorousness.Meanwhile, her melodramatic movements may be large but it is still very modest,meek and mild which shows that she is very demure and shy but, very diffident.So, overall I think that both photographs represent my character (the maiden) through all the features of the images, the poses, the costume, the expressions and the props.Using all these features I believe that both photographs clearly portray my character.

Here are the two images for my third chosen character the hero.To begin with, I think that both images really express and portray the hero. First of all, because in both images their expression shows how chivalrous and gallant the hero is. Another reason I believe so is because both of the poses express how brave the hero is, also due to the melodramtic movements in the poses it clearly portrays how couragous the hero is through action and through his movements. Secondly, in the second image, the hero's position really shows how the hero is very heroic. Also, the way the hero stands and is positioned really shows how powerful and self-confident. Meanwhile, due to the hero's melodramatic actions in the first image, this really indicates how audacious and dauntless the hero is while being in action. Other than that, I think that in both images due to the hero's poses this conveys how indomitable and valiant the hero his through his poses and his movements. Lastly, I believe that both images have clearly portrayed the hero due to all the components in the images the costume, the props, the poses and the expressions in the images.

Me Myself and I




Reflection:
For this video, I think that overall I have done a really good job in terms of creating my video and also the music.To start with as I have mentioned briefly I think I have done really well in the video as I had to make sure that I chose the appropriate pictures in my opinion that I thought would represent me and also define my personality as a whole.I also thunk that the pictures in the video represent me really well since it is not just pictures of me but it's also pictures of what helped me grow into the person I am today and to have the personality that I have today like my hobbies (singing and acting) people that have inspired through my life (my favourite singers) the people that have been involved through all the stages of my life (family and friends) and also my home countries (Egypt and Canada), other than that I have also added several other things that I believe define my identity and personality in the video.Now in terms of the tune that I have created I think I have done a good job as I was able to make the music sound appropriate and also as I was able to use my creativity to create a melody for a tune that would represent my identity as a whole and also use my creativity to create a tune to listen to it and comprehend the different notes in the music as the tune that I have created represents the inner me but mostly my personality since my music is a mixed emotion one there are a lot of high pitched notes which represented me as most of the time I am the kind of fun, happy, positive, cheerful and funny person but, in my music I also added some low pitched notes which represented me since even though I am a happy person I can also be a negative, sad,  angry person at certain times which was why I added it to my tune.However  even though I think I have done well I think that during the process I struggled a little bit with creating the melody as I found it a little bit difficult but was then able to overcome it by putting a little more effort in creating the song to be able to accomplish it.Also, the reason I believe that the piano represents me is because on the piano there are a lot of different notes on the piano, black and white, also my identity represents a lot of mixed emotions that go through my life also, playing the piano has been a big part of my life as that was one of the first steps I took to music and a passion of mine.Other than that when you play any notes on the piano you always hear and feel different sounds and emotions which represents me as every emotion I feel has a different reaction and feeling.To conclude I think I have done really well through in this assessment during the process and also as a result.Other than that I have really enjoyed this experience and it has been very beneficial for me and I think that after this experience I have learnt a lot more that I think will really help me in my next experience in creating music.

Me Myself and I




Reflection:
 For this project each student in the class had to put together a collection of pictures or videos  that represented our personality as a whole, the project was called Me Myself and I.For this project I started with gathering different pictures of me from different ages as with my family and my friends as tI believed that those would represent me / my character through my whole life and every part of it.Next, I put the pictures on my laptop to start forming the view.After that I started putting the images that I thought were very good to put in the video,I also made sure that when I put the pictures I tried my level best to make it in chronological order so it can make sense when it is seen.The reason I chose certain pictures for this video was that I wanted to show how I changed through the years, for example, the first picture was me as a 1-year-old baby in a carriage and then the video continued to show my growth,other than that I have also added pictures of my home countries as they also represent a certain part of my identity.In the video I have also added pictures of me doing my favourite activities and hobbies,for example, I put pictures of me acting in a certain play with my friends and also me singing in the winter concert with one of my best friends (Kiyara),however, I have also added an image of my favourite singer as I think she is very inspirational and I adore her music and that she has represented a part of my identity .What I think went well during the process was when I gathered the pictures that actually represented me through my life with every step and every stage with my loved ones,and that I was able to choose the certain ones that would represent as a whole.I believe that part where I struggled the most was using iMovie to make my video as I haven't really experienced using it a lot before so I kept on attempting independently until I was able to complete the video.To conclude I think I have accomplished this assignment in an appropriate manner and I have reached the aim which was to represent me myself and I through simple pictures which I believe I have fulfilled, also, in general, I think I have done a very good job in this video and I think that it is a video which totally represents who I am.

How do composers create music that makes us think of certain characteristics?

 How do composers create music that makes us think of certain characteristics?

To start with it is quite well known that pieces of music may be recognized as emotions being expressed by the composer of the piece which then leads to us receiving those emotions and characteristics once we listen to the piece of music.Most of the time so composers add characteristics to their music and feeling to it they use several extended sound production techniques in their music,such as improvisation, musical montage, preparing instruments, using non-traditional instruments, and other methods of sound production.Other things that also give a major effect on a piece of music are melodies, countermelodies, chord progression ( which support melodies) and also instrumentation. Composers usually use different chords with different keys to convey different emotions fro example if the composer  puts a minor key with a major chord that can deliver a peaceful and hopeful feeling but maybe in the same time  it may also deliver a dark mood however if the composer  puts unusual chords in your piece you can deliver a dramatic effect on the music.Most of the time the composer has a baseline in their piece of music which then helps the listener identify the characteristics and emotions associated with the piece of music.

For example, if the composer wants to make a frightening, scary piece he would put crescendoing minor chords and loud deep chords to deliver suspense and fright the composer may also add unusual chords to make it dramatic and traumatizing feeling or characteristic to the music.the composer can also put chaotic high pitched chords to scare the listener and also add some suspense to the music.Other than that the composer can also put nonlinear
 chaotic noise, for example, a dissonant chord which can then emphasize the emotion in the music but mostly the suspense.On the other hand, composers also make sad,blue pieces.In this certain type, there is a very common method which is that composers use minor keys to express sadness but the most common one is the minor third.The minor third has been used to express sadness by lots of musician and composers ever since the 17 the century.The minor third is a very clear it is obviously sadness when the minor third is put into a piece it is quite easy to identify its characteristic and its emotion in the piece as it is a deep low key that clearly describes sadness.To conclude there are a lot of methods that composers use like improvisation, musical montage, and other sound production methods  when they write pieces of music that then add characteristics to it and make the audience think and feel those emotions as they listen to the piece

MONICA VERY FINAL CAT THEME



Reflection

This is my cat theme video,Personally I think that it is very good in terms of how I played but also how I have used Mixcraft to create it.In the beginning since in this theme miss did not teach it to us I attempted to learn it alone.During that time I struggled a bit to find the correct beat and rhythm to play,time by time I got it right once I got it right it was that time where I actually started playing it on Mixcraft and adjusting it to the video.During the process I had some difficulties when I had to play  the tune on to Mixcraft.I Then inquired several people to help me in the [process,after that I was finally dine so I checked it and posted it.What I think went most successfully was the time where I learnt and played the tune of the cat's theme on Mixcraft. What I think I struggled on was finding the rhythm and the beat and adjusting them to the video on Mixcraft. To conclude I am very prod of my work and I think I have done a very good job but maybe next time I can improve on accuracy when recording it and when adjusting on to the video.

I think my overall video is very good and I am proud of my work.However during the process, I found a little easy to accomplish but obviously, I had a little difficulty accomplishing parts of the assignment for example when we had to record I struggled a little bit to get it in the right beat and the right tempo of the music to be able to adjust it to the video and I also had some difficulty when I had to get the part that  I wanted from the video using Mixcraft .Although I had some difficulties during the process I was able to communicate with our people in the class and cooperated with them to overcome my difficulties and I was also able to use  my prior knowledge to fulfill certain parts of the assignment in the process.To conclude I am very proud  of my video and I believe I have done really well in it.

In general, I think that this video is very good and I have accomplished it very well and have completed my assignment correctly and appropriately.So first of all, I think I did my work really well and I didn't find way too much difficulties during the process of my project what I believe has helped me in the process was my prior knowledge from my past project where I used the same software ( Mixcraft).However,During the process I met some obstacles, for example, I found it a little difficult to split the video then adjust my tune that I have played to the video although I struggled a little bit I was then able to overcome it by cooperating and communicating with some of the people in my class.To conclude I am very happy to deliver this video and I believe it is completed very well and appropriately.

Monica hunters theme very final




Reflection:
This is the video for my hunter's theme video,for this video I have used the software Mixcraft and on the software, I have recorded myself playing the tune but left the video as I wanted the tune to match the video.I think I am quite satisfied with my video now but I struggled a little bit during the creation of the video and it was also quite difficult to make sure that the music went with the video.However even though I struggled I was able to collaborate and communicate with some of the people in my class to help me during the process, To conclude I am proud of my final work but it was quite difficult to complete which caused me to struggle during the process but I was able to use my prior knowledge  about the notes for to help me when I recorded the tune for the video.

In our group the day it was assigned our group started to think about constructing the sentences and creating them so we then thought of 2 sentences that we did altogether but then at the end we didi not use them since they were not very good.Here is what each of us did.

Mohammed Khaled thought of 2 sentences with Bassel then Presha thought of 5 sentences over the holidays and I thought of 10 sentences.

To conclude I have managed to use my skills of creativity and communication to complete the task however,I was only able to collaborate with one person which was Presha since she was the omly person I could reach.

Presentation reflection 2

In today's lesson, the next group presented,the group consisted of Mohammed Khaled,Amone,Henhoe,Riccardo and Sam.Their powerpoint was about the woodwinds.For their group, I would give them a substantial (5) because their presentation was not put together and instead of putting it into 1 video powerpoint they had separate slides that lacked visual images and also some of the people lacked information.Another reason I think they should get a substantial (5) is that two of the people didn't even have slides to present so instead they had to present information from their prior knowledge.However 1 person had more than one slide and was quite informative but still did not have any images.To conclude I think they did well for a substantial level but they should improve on their next presentation to reach a higher level next time.

Presentation reflections

 Peer Evaluations

Today In Music all of us presented our powerpoint presentations about the instruments of the Orchestra.One of the groups that presented today consisted of Sireen,Salma,Ward ,Pres ha and Anishka.Their group presented about the string Family and the instruments in it.Personally I believe I would give them an Excellent (7).The reason I believe that they should get a (7) is their presentation was very detailed and clear and also very informative, other than that they were also confident and did not hesitate anytime during their presentation, they also made sure that they explained every single slide in a.However the only way I think they can improve is maybe if they added a little more Eye contact while presenting and talk in a slower manner.To conclude I believe that their group deserves an Excellent (7) because of the manner they presented in and the information that they presented in their presentation.

The second group that presented consisted of Akshansh, Arthur, Nasser,Faris and Karim, they presented a powerpoint about Percussion instruments.For their group, I think the mark should be Excellent (7)  because they were not perfect but their presentation was still very beneficial and educational it was also very detailed and the information was easily understood because of the simple.On the other hand, the only thing I think they can improve is maybe they can be a little more confident and can hesitate a little less. And can try to give more eye contact by trying not to read to much from the information on the slides.To conclude I believe that their group deserves an excellent (7) because of how they presented and the quality of information that they have delivered.

Powerpoint Reflection

My group researched about the instruments in the Brass family.My group consisted of Rania,Kiyara,Harang and I . I was responsible for researching and writing information about the Tuba instrument. Rania was responsible for investigating and writing about the  Trombone  instrument, Kiyara  was responsible for researching and writing about the  Euphonium instrument, and  Harang was responsible for researching and writing about the Trumpet.For our powerpoint each of us in the group described the features(what it is in detail) of our instruments that we chose from the Brass family  and how they were played, we also then added some additional information about our instruments for example who created it, what it is made of, the different types of Tubas and how to play certain notes or reach certain octaves.I believe that our powerpoint is very informative and also very detailed, I also think that we collaborated really well through the creation if the project because we were able to divide and delegate the tasks for the powerpoint easily and with not difficulty whatsoever, however, I also believe that the process the powerpoint was very smooth and successful.Lastly, I believe that I and my group have benefited a lot from our research and investigation about the Brass family other than that we have really enjoyed doing this assessment and also enjoyed working with other fellow students. On the other hand, we have met some bumps through the process but have easily overcome our bumps together with not trouble to conclude from my perspective I believe me and my group have delivered an amazing powerpoint for our assessment.

Mask Progress

Today in my art lesson I finalized and improved my mask with more features.My mask generally represents me because all the different shapes represent the different stages of my life the colors represent the different feelings I experience through my life.I believe though the creation of my mask there were some bumps but I think most of the making was very successful and educational towards me.The way I improved my mask was before it only use to be a circular collage but then today I added feathers and facial details such as the nose.The feathers represented one of my favourite animals which is a peacock.In conclusion, the experience was very educational and fun and I have really enjoyed it.

Fabric Montage

For the fabric montage first I cut the shapes in the montage on fabric.Then I used liquid glue to stick it on fabric after that I stitched the shapes for the designs onto the fabric.I believe everything went successfully and all my techniques were done appropriately.What I learnt from this was the proper technique of stitching and the art of cut outs.

Paper Montage

For my paper montage, I first cut out the shapes for the designs on my montage.Then using normal glue I stuck onto an A4 paper.I think that everything went well in the creation and the results of my paper montage.Personally, I think that I have learnt much more about the art of montages and cut outs.

My 4 designs for my Montage

For My Montage, I first chose to draw about my migration story since I was born.So then I sketched it into 4 boxes and colored it.After that, I combined all of the boxes into 1 page to make the idea of my montage.What I think went well were the idea and my coloring skills.What I think didn't work well was my drawing skills in the 4 boxes.I believe that from this I have learnt more about Henri Matisse's artwork.

In this powerpoint first I chose one of Henri's work then I analysed it.After that, I answered some questions and answered them in a powerpoint.Personally, I believe that everything went successfully and nothing was wrong.Finally, I thnk I have learnt a lot from this because I now Know a lot of new knowledge about Henri Matisse and his artwork through his whole life.
